The Güpner team accompanied me in my new role as Chief Digital Officer (CDO). New structures, a digital strategy, new working methods, coaching and training of employees as well as new HR focal points had to be developed and introduced in the implementation of our digitization process. This was a big challenge for all of us with a lot of internal resistance. With her open, understanding and yet focused manner, Ms. Güpner helped greatly to reduce the existing reservations and resistance and to build trust.
Despite existing digitization processes, we were still at the very beginning of a uniform implementation. Individual coaching sessions prepared me for my role as CDO. I think the situation has occurred for many others as well, it resulted for me in a career change with a subsequent fundamental orientation phase. When I took a decisive career step five years ago and wanted to do justice to my new role as a manager, I got to know Dr. Axel Güpner. Over a period of 3 years he accompanied me with his expertise and experience on my professional path. Through our regular exchanges and Dr. Güpner's uncomplicated way of supporting and strengthening me in my professional development, I learned within a short time how to motivate employees, lead teams and initiate changes within an institute.
